About Us
The Aledo Dance Department began in the 2019-2020 school year with dance classes for students in grades 8th-12th. The Bearcats Dance Team was established in July of 2019. They were under the direction of Emily Robison. The first team consisted of 17 dancers from grades 9-12.

Emily Robison
Coach
Emily Robison is the Bearcats Dance Team Coach as well as the Aledo Dance Department Director. Emily is beginning her 8th year as a Dance Educator; she spent 2 years at Crowley HS, 4 years at Haltom HS, and is in her 2nd year at Aledo. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Dance Education from Texas Woman's University. Before TWU, Emily obtained her Associate of Arts from Tyler Junior College where she was a part of the World Famous Apache Belles. As an Apache Belle, Emily was a Dance Captain and a part of the Elite performing group her Sophomore year. Emily is a graduate of Dublin High School where she was a member of her high school drill team all 4 years serving as a Junior Lieutenant and Senior Captain.
